A low cal and sugar free ice cream treat and other low calorie snackie snacks

So by now you guys are getting the idea I love me some ice cream. And some chocolate. I do not however love the calories, fat, and sugar that come along with either of these. Spotlight, music slows, time stops, and in walks: SO DELICIOUS Coconut Milk No Sugar Added Chocolate Flavor.

100 calories per 1/2 cup with only 1 gram of sugar!!!

There pretty much isn’t a night where I don’t have at least a bite of desert. And this, my friends, is pretty much guilt free. Even if you freaked out and ate the entire thing (not that I have ever done that, I mean, of course not….) it would only be 400 calories. That’s as much as a normal scoop of ice cream. HOLLER!!!!

The SO DELICIOUS brand just keeps getting better and better for me. They also apparently have NSA Butter Pecan, Mint Chip, Toasted Almond Chip (need to get on that asap), and Vanilla Bean. Your welcome.

Another snack I am seriously digging right now is Seasnax seaweed. It comes in three different flavors: Classic Olive Oil, Toasty Onion and the newest addition to the bunch, Chipotle.

Handy dandy little snack packs! (Note: possibly intended for children's lunches but whatever, I eat 3)

Big packs - this is how I buy it. It's so fun to rip up your snax and chomp it down!

SeaSnax, or any other roasted seaweed product, is a nutrient-packed snack which is vegan, gluten free and Non-GMO Project verified.  It is made using 100% olive oil and just a pinch of sea salt.  This “vegetable of the sea” is all natural with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

BENEFITS OF SEAWEED

Sea vegetables are virtually fat-free, low in calories and one of the richest sources of minerals in the vegetable kingdom as they have ready access to the abundant minerals found in the ocean. Nourishment is acquired across the sea vegetable’s entire surface through the gentle wave action of underwater currents. In fact, for centuries, new mothers in Korea have replenished themselves with seaweed soup to assist them in their postpartum recovery and rejuvenation. According to ancient Korean folklore, this postpartum tradition was learned from observing female whales that would seek out and eat strands of seaweed after giving birth. Great reason to snack!!!!
Another snack I am sickly obsessed with is Kale Chips. No there are a lot of brands I really love, but a standout on the lower calorie front in Rawk n Roll Notchos

Ingredients: Organic Kale, Organic Soaked/Dehydrated Raw Brazil Nuts/cashews/almonds, Organic Lemons, Unpasteurized White Miso, Liquid Aminos, Nutritional Yeast, Organic Turmeric, Smoked Papkrika, Organic Black Pepper - completely RAW and VEGAN

Kale chips are made by coating raw kale with spices and nuts and sometimes nutritional yeast and sticking them in the dehydrator.

Notchos on a plate!

These chips are cheesy tasting and super chewy. Amazing! And the entire package only has 60 calories! Seriously these are beyond dope BEYONDDDDDD.

Do you have any go to vegan snacks that you love? Let me know!!!

xoxo

  1. I tried the seaweed today crushed up and mixed in a salad dressing with olive oil, red wine vinegar and dijon mustard. It rocked! Thanks vegan girlfriend.
